MANEKINO FILM is a production company based in Bucharest, established to promote authors with strong personal visions, uncompromising films that reflect the controversial nowadays reality and daringly explore the limits of cinema language.
MANEKINO FILM sets an official frame for the 9 years of creative team work in cinema field of its members- Marius Iacob, producer/cinematographer, Adina Pintilie, director/scriptwriter, Adrian Sitaru, director/producer and Tudor Petre, editor/sound designer. Their films were selected/awarded in a large number of international film festivals like Locarno, Berlin, Sarajevo, IDFA, Moscow, Warszaw, Thessaloniki, Leipzig etc. MANEKINO FILM’s 2010 production, the medium length OXYGEN, by Adina Pintilie, coproduced by Filmex Film and Cinema Studio of Romanian Ministry of Culture, was selected in Tiger Awards Shorts Competition of Rotterdam 2010, BAFICI, Montpellier,Thessaloniki, Bilbao, Warszaw, Tampere, Lisbon etc. and nominated for the Best Short Film Award at the Romanian Film Industry Awards GOPO 2011
